Robert Louis-Dreyfus, 1946-2009…
By: Magnusson | July 4th, 2009
It has now been confirmed that Robert Louis-Dreyfus died Saturday afternoon, losing a long battle against Leukemia at the relatively young age of 63. He leaves three children and a widow. This is sad but unsurprising news as he was so weak recently that he hadn’t shown himself in public in practically six months. Our prayers are with his family in these trying times. May he rest in peace.

What a tragedy. Though we marseille fans had differences with him recently, there is no doubt that he truly loved the team. This chaotic summer has just climaxed, what else could go wrong?
RIP Robert Dreyfus

Condolences to his family and everything, but unfortunately his legacy to the fans will be the loss of Gerets and Diouf.

Can any1 here tell me, what do you think will be Ben Arfas role this season? Will he be on the bench like last season or will Deschamps get the best out him and make him his main man? I certainly hope Ben Arfas talent won’t be wasted more, one of the most talented players in the world, so inconsistent…

@Aleksandr Well Ben arfa’s role is supposed to be NAsri’s from two seasons ago. That’s what he was bought for and that’s why everyone has been so patient with him. At the begining of the season, he’ll be starting, that’s for sure and if h wants to play the world cup, he better impress. After yesterday’s game, i cn honestly say it’s a great start that he is already in grat shape compared to a few others on the team. We’ll see how it turns out.
