Mourinho likes Kaboré…

José Mourinho watches the Ligue 1, we’re aware of that. He has snatched big players such as Didier Drogba, Lassana Diarra, Florent Malouda or Petr Cech from Ligue 1 clubs in the years past. And apparently he has set his eyes on one of our new players. Charles Kaboré just arrived from Libourne Saint-Seurin this winter but has already shown enormous potential. On international duty with the Burkina faso team during the World Cup 2010 qualifiers, the young midfielder was appraoched by his own national manager, Paulo Duarte who used to work with Mourinho at Leira.
Asked by L”Equipe, Kaboré confessed the interest:
“He (Paulo Duarte) asked me if I had a leaving clause in my contract. He also told me that Mourinho was very interested in me. I’m very proud of that but I told him that my club was Marseille and that it was my priority at the moment.”
This is interesting, Mourinho has a faculty of finding players that even clubs in the same country are not yet interested in. But since he has a great relationship with José Anigo, the two will be able to negociate the transfer in a few seasons, when Kaboré becomes the kind of player everyone thinks he can become.
