Marseille only have to worry about Bordeaux this season,if they beat Bordeaux they will win ligue 1,as Lyon have a shit squad-there worst squad for about 13 years so,hopefully they will be relegated this season

Ligue 1 needs to expand it's marketability somewhere. Asia is a great market to harness. Even if EPL dominates in Asia there is still scope for other leagues to capture significant market share.

Ronan you are lost! This isn't Lyon's thread. Plus Lyon had 90 million to spent last season as well. They ended up buying Piquionne!

With regards to Gudjohnsen - I believe that OM are in with a decent chance to procure him from FCB but recent reports indicate that fans shouldnt hold such high hopes. At times in my mind I do feel that the wrong player of Barcelona is being targeted. No offense to Gudjohnsen because I respect him for his ball playing skills and visionary intellect but Aleksandr Hleb is a much more viable yet costly option. Though his mind looks set on a move to Bayern.

For revenue purposes OM, an innovative approach would be for management to ship over a promising Vietnamese or Cambodian youngster (wi) - I know as a fact that Ligue Un is shown accross Vietnam in certain channels and that the Indochinese are itching to have one of their own feature in a European league. OM has the opportunity to succedd where the French govt continues to fail; to get the Indochinese people re-embracing French culture - and most importantly its football.

On my previous visit I was quite shocked (not really, more sad to be honest) when I learned that Rooney is considered a larger figure than say Ribery according to the fans...

The trade off with a potential Lucho-Cana deal is that the former is a slightly more versatile option, but keep in mind that Cana has yet to peak and has a long future ahead of him - and is also three years Gonzalez's junior meaning there is little chance his value will depreciate any time soon.

Though Lucho's general-like leadership and explosiveness makes him a safe option - personally speaking I would prefer to retain Cana's services.

THANKS FOR THE WELCOMING WORDS ALL!!!! You all have the envy of me as Melbourne (my residence) is currently experiencing a frosty and hostile winter's season :'(

Lucho Gonzalez?? Was he really on our transfer list? But if he is coming then that would mean Cana leaves.

Daniel, very nice post. I look forward to your future posts. Any comments on how destructive this train wreck occurring in the marseille management could be on the OM transfer list? I have already heard that Certin is taking longer than usual and Lucho Gonzales is slipping farther and farther away...
