Samir Nasri signed with Arsenal, or maybe he hasn’t…

So this afternoon around 4 pm on my RSS feed comes the offcial announcement from Samir Nasri’s official website:
“We inform you that Samir Nasri will not be an Olympique de Marseille player next season. We would also like to tell you that he has signed a four-year contract with the London club, Arsenal,”
So Samir Nasri’s website posts this “official statement” and even illustrates it with an Arsenal logo. Trying to get back to the website a few minutes later, the website is down. The reason? Well apparently the deal has not been done yet. Jean-Pierre Bernès, his agent went out in all media outlets just to make sure they knew there were no deal made yet!
This is getting kinda ridiculous with the different declarations about him signing or not. What we know for sure is that the physical went fine and that he will be signing for 4 years and 20 million euros.
This sum is much more than we had heard before so if we manage to sell Samir for this much after the lackluster season he’s had, then Pape Diouf and José Anigo need to be congratulated.
According to RMC Info, the deal will be signed tomorrow morning and the website (that is administered by his own father) will probably be back up.
