His season was good considering his illness and fitness problems. He scored 6 goals this season and was the best player on the pitch in a crucial game to qualify OM for the Champions League. He also has a tremendous first appearance for the national side and greated an assist for Karim Benzema to score his first goal for Les Bleus. If he is groomed correctly, I think he will be able to fill the playmaker role in the NT that Zidane vacated.

I think Pape Diouf and more importantly José Anigo is so disenchanted with the kid that they are like "fine, whatever! If you wanna leave, leave". It took him six months to extend his copntract becuse he knew it would be a bad PR move to refuse our offer. He became calculting and that's a pity for me. That really sucks
Also there's no way ANY club would pay 25 million for him today. He's had a so-so season and in my opinion hasn't proved anything worthy of th NT yet. If he goes, we're bringing the promise of something good. We expect him to be good but we haven't seen him worthy of his name this season.

I think 15 million is too cheap. Last year he was 25 million, though granted, Nasri was in an out all season this year.

I'm surprised Marseille didn't attempt to start a bidding war to bump up the price - Nasri has a lot of other clubs interested in him, with Inter being his most persistent suitor.

Well, I don't really agree with Sika, other much younger french players have succeeded in the Premiere league. You see, the challenge that the PL presents is on two main levels. The first is the physical engagement, the L1 is pretty the same on this level. The other one is the pressure. I personally think, that Samir has learnt a thing or two on pressure at OM!!!

Now, regarding the departure of Samir... First of all it's a huge disappointment!!!! But to be totally frank it isn't really a surprise. We all knew, (OM fans) that, at one point or another, Samir was leaving us, just like Ribery and Drogba did before. But what hurts the most, is that Samir is one of us... He was born a Marseillais, grew up in Marseille, is a big fan of OM, and is a pure product of OM. It's a shame!!! But again, to be totally honest better Arsenal than OL!!! After all, Wenger has the capacity of turning Samir into a ballon d'or. ;)

this sucks... respect to arsenal though, because i think they're great, but i just don't think he's ready enough for a challenge like the premiere league.
