I wish Cisse would of stayed. I like him as a player, he frustrates me but the guy does score goals.. Like Gerets said, the balance in the squad was perfect. The team has a real big chance of winning the title and I wish Djib would of stayed to try and reach that goal.

I can understand why he wanted to go back to england though. There is no way sunderland would of been his greatest choice for his next club. I think he just wanted to go back to england, he has a wife and kids that he does not get too see. That is a hard situation for anybody. Money wont keep you happy while your family is in another country.

Man I just hope Niang does not get injured for a long period.

Nolan - Money and shopping. Plus his wife never accepted coming down to France.
I can understand the guy, he never sees his kids anymore, plus his wife lost their baby last year while he was in France, and Marseille fans alternate between booing him and cvhanting his name. But if "Family comes first, family should come first".
I respect his choice but it has been said that evn his agent was not made aware of the situation, so it means the reason why he left was because he barely played against Auxerre (his childhood club) and chose to leave for the first english club, any english club.

He's a fool, Marseille was perfect for his career and now he will be a nobody in England. Why anyone would choose to live in England over Southern France just baffles me.

He should have stayed. He wasnt playing much now but its a long season and with 4 competitions and inevietable injuries he would have gotten plenty of chances to play more. Pretty dumb to just give away 16 goals like that. I've lost a lot of respect for this guy now since he chose to quit rather than try to help his team win a title for the first time in 15 years. I mean they just paid 9 M for him last year and he had a 5 year contract and he did said OM was the club of his heart and now this happens. I was a huge fan of this guy but not anymore.
