D-1, Samir Nasri DID train today…

If you’re a marseille fan like myself, you can’t help but wonder how well Samir Nasri’s ankle is doing today and more importantly how well it will be tomorrow. The truth is I don’t knpw as there’s clearly a veil over that and Eric Gerets told the press thy could only be sure after tonight’s dinner which is when they will receive the results from his exams and see if he will be ready to play against the Reds Tuesday night. HIs situation is similar to that of karim Benzema two weeks ago. If this game was played on wednesday, Samir would have been on the pitch without a doubt. Now the extra 24 hours we can’t afford is giving us headaches. What is for sure is that even though he couldn’t play against Monaco, Samir train today with the whole team and is included in the group. That means that no matter what, he will play SOME of that game.
Will he start? That is the question.
I’ll try to keep my ears open until late tonight but I’m pretty sure the news as to wether or not he will be starting the game tomorrow night will only be communicated to the press in the morning.
