OM-PSG Preview (Part Deux)
By: Sarah |UPDATE: New information regarding the lineup has been tossed around in the press– see below!
The rest of the world may be focusing on the World Cup Playoffs and the “hand of Henry” (and the impending re-play drama) but let’s not forget the biggest game in the Ligue 1 is happening this tomorrow (Friday, 11/20)! While [...]
PSG Fans Boycotting Trip to OM
By: Sarah |The controversy with this fixture just won’t go away! First there was the usual Classico build-up (including some cool NIKE videos), then the swine flu media explosion, fan mayhem, followed up by some temperamental club politics and then the French government decided to have their say…and now we might have a full-on boycott on our [...]

Reports are now that the Bavarian giants Bayern Munchen have set their sights on our very own Mandanda. Over the summer Bayern made a slew of summer signings [...]
Swine Flu Almost Disrupted the Classico

These are the second and third cases of swine flu to be diagnosed in Ligue 1 after Emir Spahic (Montpellier) contracted the disease in August. The PSG players are reported to be midfielder Ludovic Giuly and defender Mamadou Sakho.
The French [...]
It’s time for a confrontation between Hatem and Stephane…
By: Sarah |One of my favorite things about the build up to the classico is definitely the Nike commercials. Last year, they released the V is for Victory videos with Hoarau’s header, Ben Arfa playing pétanque and then these interviews (and here and here).
