It has been a big week for French football as two of the three Ligue 1 teams have secured their spot for the next round in the Champions League. With our own victory over Zurich hope is kept alive that we to will be able to celebrate in advancing to the final 16.

Gignac has already admitted the game this weekend against Marseille will be a “special” moment.
For those who don’t know anything about Gignac beyond his impressive scoring ability, he was born in Martigues, a town outside of Marseille, which explains why the game has special significance for the guy.

The Worst: Cheyrou in Fitness Battle for Toulouse

Cheyrou, our most consistent player and general star this season, may not be available for Deschamps to choose this weekend.  He had an ultrasound on his leg on Tuesday after experiecning groin problems.  The ultrasound revealed a slight lesion on his right adductor muscle.
