Santos Mirasierra is FREE…

We were all hoping nothing happened in terms of retalaition sand such things and at 4 Pm today, the best news in a long time dropped as the spanish jusge of the Santos Mirasierra case decided to free Santos while waiting for his appeal. Marseille will pay his bail money and Santos will be able to come back home tomorrow afternoon.
Earlier today, his attorney Erlantz Ibarrondo asked for said bail this morning. the 6000 euros fine will be handled by the club. Now we’ll be able to focus on football. Something noone was interested in before this afternoon. The game will be open, and hopefully we can win and go through.
Of course, the Ultras will definitly be in the stadium as they planned on staying outside during the whole thing. Their 4500 memebers were about to distribute 40.000 t-shirt with Santos’ name on it to help create a silent protest. All that is out the wndow. Thank God…..

Superb news!!!! I’m so happy for Santos, his family, all of the Ultras and the people of Marseille. Just one question – why was this announcement made by the Judge today, when the eyes of the world are drawn to Santos’ plight and the injustice of the Fascist Spanish legal system? Anyway – time for the match ALLEZ L’OM!!!

I don’t think anyone will forget what he had to go through but Marseille HAD to pay just out of respect for someone who chose all his life to put the team first in everything he did.
Now this is over hopefully and we can get back to focusing on what really important: What colour kicks Ben Arfa will wear on Sunday?Posted from
