Rumor – Carlos Valencia

After a few weeks in Argentina, José anigo wrote a lot of names on his wishlist for Christmas and the truth is we don’t know what to believe since apparently every agent in the game is trying to get their players some hype by linking them to Marseille. Eevrytime, I’ll hear some rumor from a reliable source, I’ll try to report on it.
Now we all know that Taiwo will be gone for the ACN for 6 weeks in january and february. The left back position was problematic and we still haven’t really found the real replacement for Captain habib Beye.
A name that has been circulating heavily this week, that of Colombian left-back Carlos Alberto Valencia. The 19 year-old can hardly be called a player since he hasn’t played for the first team, ever.
I don’t know what good that would do us to take another argentinian prospect just because they’re in their U-21 team. We did it with Renato Civelli and he turned out to be a dud. We need players that can play at the Véldrome right away. So I hope this rumor turns out ro be the musings of another agent and that there’s no truth to it.
