Henry has a seat in the bus of the Team and when he wanted to get to his, Benzema told him to go sit elsewhere. Aside from that, after the second game, he was so pissed he started criticizing Henry and Thuram, to what Makélélé told him to shut the fuck up and thn Thuram gave him the nickname Benarfa for his constant whining.
And the fact that he’s constantly with Nasri not trying to fit in made him quickly very unpopular. These things would have never happened a year ago.

And how do you know that Ribéry and Nasri hate each other?
I thought benzema was a nicer boy, Nasri shows to everyone he is big headed

Not nice things to hear, though, I love the French team partly because they play nice and got nice players, like Henry and Zidane some years ago

Perhaps it was the heat of the moment, I mean we hardly had a successful tournament so maybe tensions ran high.

They’re still kinda young so they’ve got time to shape up and become level headed players.

I agree – they are still not proven players yet. And contrary to what everyone believes, a lot of Arsenal fans don’t even want Nasri…They feel he’s too unready and maybe even overrated.
When France get a coach with a head screwed on, he should just drop the guys with big egos to teach them an important lesson

What’s worse is I feel they’re doing them a disservice by letting them believ they’re so great. Djibril Cissé scored 25+ goals for three seasons at the same age 5 years ago. Let not get ahead of ourselves. Neither Nasri nor Benzema have done anything more than just show great talent. They have buzz, hype around them but haven’t done anything noteworthy yet.

I agree that Benzema and Nasri are getting big headed, but I thing this respect for the old guard is getting too out of hand. It was the old guard who played the worst this tournament (Sagnol, Henry, Coupet, Thuram, Malouda, Anelka, etc), and they shouldn’t feel that they are above criticism, even if it comes from players younger than them (though of course it should be worded respectfully).

To keep it 100% real, I wanted Benzema, but both his and Nasri’s behavior towards the old guard has been apparently outlandish. His head is growing bigger by the second.
This reminds me of an old Equipe Magazine profile on Mourad Meghni that was titled “Zinédine Qui?” when Zidane retired from the french NT and they were looking for his replacement. Meghni has not been seen since in l’Equipe Magazine.

Well Benzema probably shouldn’t even have been selected for the Euro. That is a big tournament and step for such a young (and immature) player. I wanted Trézéguet not Benzema.
