Ouch again!!!

Mamadou Niang is one of my favourite players in the Ligue 1. First of all, he plays for Marseille AND for the senegalese national team. And he’s always shown a lot of humility and hardwork. So I was quite sad to hear that he would be out at least the next three weeks. He’s going to miss most of the month of August (that will see six more games take place) and he’s definitely going to miss our confrontation against Ghana in London on the 21st. Let’s just hope he gets better quick for both for the senegalese nation and the “peuple marseillais”.
Speaking of that same friendly, Dédé Ayew, Abédi Pelé’s son has been called up for the first time to join the Black Stars. A few weeks ago, Pelé Junior said he was still hesitating between Ghana and France. Apparently the message was heard loud and clear in Accra.
In other news, José Anigo denied any rumours linking Sergueï Semak or Nantes’ Bagayoko to come and fill one one of the striker spots left vacant when both Pagis and Maoulida left this summer.

That sucks he’s missing the Ghana game. Glad to hear Pele’s son is staying in Africa where he belongs.

Semak or Bagayoko ? Come on, you guys can do much better than that. You need an international player to help with Cisse. Ideally Niang would be your 3rd option on a championship contender.

There’s a rumour that Allbäck could be coming along, but he wouldn’t be allowed to play in the Champions League.

I even heard Maxi Lopez this morning. And I’ve never seen NIang as a third option. We’re tyalking about one of the best players in the ligyue1 with 12 goals and 11 assists last year.
