Mamadou Niang Arrives in Istanbul

In the spirit of more OM attacking alumni, Mamadou Niang has returned to Turkey by signing with Istanbul side Besiktas on loan. I’m curious to know what everyone thinks of this. Do you think Niang would have been open to a return to France? Does he still have what it takes to be competitive in Ligue 1? I personally think he would have been open and that he’d be more or less just as effective as he was the day he left. Well with just over three hours left in the transfer window perhaps OM brass can surprise us all with a marquee signing. *Fingers crossed*
