D-6, Karim Ziani headed to the infirmary…
By: Magnusson | December 5th, 2007
After Mamadou Niang last night, it was Karim Ziani’s turn to hurt himself as soon as Eric Gerets started pairing him with Samir Nasri. Good going Karim, not only are we going to meet a team that scored 22 goals in four games but we’re gonna haveto face them without our top players. This is just great. Karim hurt his knee again and will have to get an IRM tomorrow morninng. We don’t know if he’ll be fit for the Monaco game. Let’s not even mention the CL…
You heard it here first, tomorrow, Mathieu Valbuena will hurt himself.

Well, to be fair, Ziani hasn’t been doing much for you guys this year. Some of your best performances were without him on the pitch. But then again, you did have Niang…

Yeah but he played right against Lille. It was such an interesting and encouraging display. I was thinking this was the Ziani I saw last year in Sochaux at the stade de France. Now he my have to be gone for another mobth. It just sucks when you feel the season ain’t gonna really start until after the ACN and after we are eliminated of the CL and get into the UEFA Cup.
