It’s already next season…
By: Magnusson | May 16th, 2008
Marseille has decided to do something that I believe has never been done before and what a great idea this is. For the last game of the season that will be played tomorrow at the Vélodrome against Strasbourg, and that could have critical consequences on next year, the marketing teams at Adidas and Marseille have decided to unveil next year’s away kits for the first and last time at a home game. They unveiled said jersey this afternoon and I must say, it is a beauty. This jersey is so hot I’m gonna have to cop it as soon as I can afford it. It will be available in the stadium tomorrow, in Adidas and OM stores in France from monday on and in sports stores from May 24th on. It will be online pretty soon too.
This jersey is very original as it was conceived to look like a polo shirt and the argyle will make it even more popular. If this shirt proves popular, it could even be sold wthout sponsor on it, so that fans can be able to buy them and wear them on a daily basis as a fashionnable outfit. It’s an amazing design and Adidas keeps making Marseille fans happy. Or at least they’re trying to keep us guessing. As usual, the Home and Third jerseys will be unveiled just before the new 08/09 season starts.

I like these, they’re quite original. I wonder how the home one will look like, would like to see them experiment there as well.

Those are awesome kits! Marseille have some of the best kits around, and definitely my favorite in France.
Interesting that Nasri isn’t one of the models…

Well Nasri’s leaving. He let it slip tonight. I’ll write about it tomorrow.

I agree that they are very original. The idea of selling them without sponsor names is also good.
Maybe it takes some getting used to because my first thought was: Why is Cana wearing his grandfather’s pullover?Posted from
