Marseille continue their activity in the transfer window with the acquisition of CFR Cluj winger Modou Sougou. I honestly have never heard of him as my knowledge of Romanian football ends with Mutu and Nicolita. We are looking at a transfer fee of around 3 million Euros for the Senegalese winger. Certainly goals haven’t comes easy for us our paltry goal differential speaks to that. Whether or not Sougou can adapt to our league is yet to be seen, at least he wont have any hurdles with the French language. Far from a big name to replace Remy (assuming this is meant to be his replacement) lets hope Sougou can put some smiles on the faces of the fans!
