Six Months ago, we were finishing a great season with a qualification to the Champions League and a final of the Coupe de France that we lost in the penalties to Sochaux. Three of our players were called up by Uncle Ray Ray for the Euro qualifiers (Franck Ribery, Samir Nasri and Djibril Cissé). We seemed to be on top of the world. At the end of a great season, Téléfoot did a subject on those three and finished it with a “Rock Paper Cissors” context. Funtimes…

  This is just sad. I was reading Gerets’s post match interview, and he was just baffled at OM’s breakdown. He couldn’t figure out what went wrong. It’s unfortunate that Marseille played the worst game of the season on the one day it mattered.

  You know I watched it again today and we played worse against Liverpool than we did against valenciennes

  If you’ve ever watched ESPN’s Champions League show, the analysts were shocked at Marseille’s performance. Tommy Smyth, who hates all things French, had expected Marseille to get a draw. They had some interesting things to say about it though.
